(Continued.... ) .... between every third or fourth word was SO irritating and distracting, I could not concentrate! Ms Dyson apparently went to drama school and yet still never learned that using “You know?” as a sort of nervous tick probably because one is not good at thinking on one’s feet or is not particularly articulate is an absolute No no! and cardinal sin! One would think ‘Spotlight’, considering the profession they represent would be more aware of this sort of ‘Howler!’ and censor the same!? Yours reasonably irritated, M H Bourne

Just listened to Spotlight podcast Re: refreshing your career. Emma Dyson was answering questions from Spotlight interviewer. I had very real problems listening to any of Emma Dyson’s advice because her propensity to say “You know?”
